Ground Breaking Business...

apogee community linden lodge school

Apogee have long since believed in giving back to the community and this can be demonstrated perhaps no more strongly than within an on-going relationship with Linden Lodge School, a specialist learning centre for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties. In addition to historically providing both funding and fundraising support for the development of a hydro-therapy pool for the school, Apogee are the lead sponsor for a current initiative do build a specialist movement development centre in the school grounds costing over 1 million pounds. Apogee have once again lead the charge with both financial support and fund raising activities in a bid to further elevate the school’s already excellent facilities.

In recognition of their continued efforts to support the school, Linden Lodge have decided to name the new building the “Apogee Centre” – an honour gratefully welcomed. The development now has the required funding in place, planning permission has been granted and Apogee CEO’s Jason Collins and Barry Ferdinand have attended the site to perform the traditional ground breaking ceremony.

At a time when many businesses are looking inward at cost
control and reducing their overall commitments to local and charitable projects, Apogee has decided to stick with the program and continue their community involvement work with the bigger picture in mind.

Apogee fully supports Linden Lodge and the marvellous help and development it continues to provide to children in such need. A spokesperson from Apogee commented; “Giving back to the community in which we do business is an important and ongoing commitment for us and Linden Lodge School is at the very heart
of our various projects – we are very excited about the new
building and wait with baited breath to see the final results”.
