Blake trades Britain for the States...

A row involving Blake Aldridge and the Great Britain diving camp, which has forced Blake to now dive and train in the U.S. Despite Blake's success in the pool, with a personal best at the National Cup back in Feburary also making the 10m final in Agust at the European Championship.
The past year has been a turbulent year for Blake, being cleared of assault, even with the case being thrown out of court due to a lack of evidence, he has still been left out of the pre-European Championship training camp. The row has escalated leading to Blake leaving the country to concerntrate on preparing for the London 2012 Olympics. He told the Croydon Guardian, "I am diving here and training here to keep out of the way of all the British divers so nobody knows what I am doing with my training."
"British Diving has treated me badly and that's why I have come away to get away from them and their eyes so I can come home and hopefully kick some butt and shock everyone."
The 28-year-old may have quit altogether but for the continued backing of his sponsors, Apogee Corporation. With the Olympics is now just under 600 days away, we Apogee wish him all the luck and best wishes with his training in the States and even more for the London 2012 Olympics.
