Apogees Olympian Ready For New Heights

Apogee would like to congratulate Blake Aldridge for his bronze medal at the British Gas National Cup in Sheffield in the men’s three-metre individual event scoring 384.00.

The event took place on the 5th-7th Feb with Blake topping the pile in the preliminary round but unfortunately was beaten in the finals by Oliver Dingley. However Blake is far from dissatisfied stating “I had hit all my targets; I have qualified for the European Championships and Grand Prix this season”.

Blake recently transferred from Southampton Diving Club to Crystal Palace where he began his diving career. Last year Blake had a major shift in his career when he began to participate in cliff diving where his passion for diving was rediscovered, breaking a world record for the hardest list of dives ever used which inspired him in his search for a medal in Sheffield.

Apogee Corporation is the proud sponsor of Blake Aldridge and will continue to sponsor Blake until the 2012 Olympics where we wish him all the success in the European Championships and Grand Prix.
