Team Apogee Present Help a Capital Child With A Cheque For £18,800 at Capital FM Headquarters.

Good Luck Team Apogee

Following the completion of Team Apogee’s gruelling 21-mile row from London Docklands to Ham in Surrey, the team were delighted to receive an invitation from Capital FM, to present the fundraising cheque in one of the studios in London’s Leicester Square.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters and donators, Team Apogee were able to hand over a cheque for more than £18,800 to Global Radio’s Managing Director of Charities and Communities, Dalton Leong, and Capital FM’s daytime DJ, Roberto.

Following a quick tour of the legendary radio station and its studios, the team posed for photographs and took a moment to express our pleasure in supporting such a worthwhile cause.

Apogee Joint CEOs, Jason Collins and Barry Ferdinand, said; “Help a Capital Child is a key charity for Apogee Corporation. As a business we have a strong ethos of giving back to our community and Help a Capital Child really compliments the extended family atmosphere within Apogee. We’re extremely grateful to our various supporters who gave not only their time but were also very generous with their donations and our continued thanks must go out to them as well.”

Dalton Leong and Roberto commented; “I must congratulate Team Apogee on completing this rowing challenge in aid of Help a Capital Child. The funds raised, an amazing £18,820, will enable us to support hundreds more disadvantaged children across the UK. Thank you for your tremendous support, to all those involved from Apogee. We are proud of every one of you.”

Although the race has been won and the cheque presented, we would like nothing more than to be able to present Help a Capital Child with an additional cheque. Those of you who are still feeling generous and would like to donate can do so at www.justgiving.com/apogeecorporation
