Team Apogee are stepping up to the plate for the 2nd time in 3 weeks
Team Apogee are a few days away from Stage 2 of their ambitious 5-Part Charity Challenge. Having recently cycled 100 miles up, down and over the challenging and punishing Surrey hills, which included the Olympic Mountain Cycling Course, the Team are now turning to the Spin Class from hell, 4 hours of pain-inducing non-stop spinning.
Why are they doing this?
They are doing this because up and down the UK 100s of outstanding projects for Children and Young People have benefited from the amazing efforts of Team Apogee in 2012. With the generous sponsorship of Apogee’s staff, families, business partners and clients, Apogee’s fundraising has made a significant difference to young cancer patients, young carers, disadvantaged children and young people with a host of challenging conditions and situations.
Barry and Jason recently met some of their beneficiaries at the Laburnum Boat Club ( http://www.apogeecommunity.com/visit-to-apogee-beneficiary-laburnum-boat-club/ ) and this has made the Team determined to exceed last year’s ambitious fundraising target for Capital FM’s Charity, Help a Capital Child.
To ensure Apogee can change the lives of as many sick and disadvantaged young people as possible, we hope all our supporters will demonstrate their renowned generosity by donating via The Team’s Just Giving page – http://www.justgiving.com/apogeecorp2013
Don’t miss Team Apogee’s, now legendary and very entertaining, blogger to keep up-to-date with their exploits. You will find the blog on Apogee’s Community Webpage – http://www.apogeecommunity.com/team-apogees-2013-charity-campaign-is-off-to-a-great-start/
Good Luck Team Apogee.
